Recommendations to Parents

Parents are expected to play their part by enforcing regularity and discipline and
seeing to it that their children prepare their lessons daily and take keen interest
in the activities of the school.

Criticism of a child's teacher and the school in her presence should be avoided
because it causes the child to lose her respect for the teacher, with the consequent
failure to learn from him/her. Should you have a legitimate complaint, meet the
principal, without fear of reprisal.

While communicating with the principal, parents are requested to mention the name,
standard and section of their wards.

Parents are requested not to enter the class rooms and instruct the teachers.
All dealing with the teachers must be conducted through the principal.

Parents are strictly forbidden to see their wards or interview the teachers during
the school hours. Members of the staff may be contacted on every Parents - Teachers
Meet day and on special appointment whenever they are off-duty.

Private tuitions are discouraged. Parents/Guardians should not make private arrangements
for tuitions with the members of the Staff without consulting the Principal.
Private tuitions, if found extremely necessary will have to be arranged in consultation
with the Principal.

Parents are requested not to send for their child during class hours except in
cases of unforeseen circumstances and in such cases, a written application must
be produced.

Parents are requested to take away their children within ten minutes after the school
hours.

Parents are expected to sign the Report cards and the Principal's or teacher's remarks
in the diary. Failure to do so may cause great mutual Inconveniences.

As the medium of instruction in the school is English, parents are requested to have a certain amount of regular
English Conversation at home which will help the children to do their lessons easily.

Parents/guardians and Pupils must be acquainted with the rules mentioned In the
school diary, ignorance of them will not be excused.
